Scale of pattern vs room size

Choosing a pattern to tie in an aesthetic is often a personal choice – but there are a few things to keep in mind when choosing the right carpet. Smaller rooms tend to look better with a small scale design, while spacious interiors call for a bold pattern or large scale design. Colour is an excellent way to tie the carpet to the rest of the room – especially when trying to visually enlarge smaller spaces, or ground an open concept interior.
